LAS VEGAS (March 23, 2018) – Healthy Nevada Days, a community-wide celebration of fitness and health is Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Craig Ranch Regional Park. (628 W. Craig Rd.) The event includes a 5K fun run, 1-mile walk, a bike rodeo for kids, and a fitness fair featuring local vendors, food trucks offering healthy-fare and raffles with a chance to win a bike. The event is 8 – 11 a.m. and runners and walkers take their mark at 9 a.m. The family-friendly, all ages event is free and open to the public. Healthy Nevada Days’ fitness fair includes local vendors like Orange Theory Fitness, Origin Climbing and Fitness, Salt Room LV, T-Mobile, Tough Mudder Boot Camp, YMCA of Southern Nevada, Vegas Veggies, and wellness offerings like massage and acupuncture, among others.
Over 25 years ago, Fisher founded Escape Adventures Nevada’s first tour company targeting cyclists, campers and outdoor enthusiasts. The company has been an integral part of driving outdoor tourism in Nevada. Jared built two LEED Gold buildings, a LEED Platinum, Net Zero building, three bike shops, and an outdoor-themed retail center, which have earned him industry wide recognition as a leader in renewable energy. He has received numerous awards for his commitment to sustainability and best business practices.
In his career, Fisher has worked operated tours in 13 states and has worked closely with the Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service, U.S. Forest Service, as well as many state governments parks and state agencies. Fisher has served on several state boards and sports environment-related committees.
