I will focus on three types of roadways: intra-rural and metropolitan connectivity as well as inner metropolitan efficiency. For the rural areas, I will work on prioritizing passing lanes on our state highways to make it safer to travel throughout Nevada. One way to support our rural areas is with better infrastructure and connectivity. For our two main metropolitan areas, I plan to look into bringing more airline options and building passing lanes between Reno and Las Vegas. One airline alone is not serving us with the competition needed for affordable travel between Reno and Las Vegas. I will also look into high-speed travel options between our cities and other metropolitan area such as Phoenix and Los Angeles. I think the high speed mag-lev train would be a great boon to our economy.
I will promote alternative and public transportation as much as possible and will work on improving bike and pedestrian safety.
